At KL Child Photography, we believe every family deserves school portraits that make them smile for years to come.
We specialize exclusively in preschool and childcare photography because we know that the best portraits happen when children are encouraged to simply be themselves. Our sessions capture genuine smiles, joyful moments, occasional playful glares, and the wonderful personalities that make each child unique.
As a team with backgrounds in both education and photography, we understand young children and know how to help them feel comfortable, confident, and excited on photo day. Whether it's chatting about Paw Patrol, singing Baby Shark, or sharing a silly joke, we're here to make picture day something children genuinely enjoy.
Every school is different, which is why every photo day is fully customized. From backdrop selection and portrait style to special requests unique to your centre, we work closely with you to create a photo day that reflects your school's personality and vision.

And the little guy in the raccoon shirt you'll spot throughout our website? That's my own son at not quite four years old—the little boy who inspired this business and continues to remind me just how quickly these preschool years pass. Today he's nearly finished elementary school, and I'm incredibly grateful to have these portraits of his sweet preschool smile.
Protecting children's privacy is one of our highest priorities.
Every image displayed on this website has been shared with the parents' explicit written permission, and many were created during dedicated model sessions specifically for marketing purposes.
We currently photograph more than 6,000 children each year across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, and Victoria. Since 2024, we have chosen not to publicly share any new student portraits—even when we have parental permission. Following each photo day, images are available only through secure, password-protected galleries for families and their school.
It's one more way we're helping ensure every child's images remain as private and secure as possible.
