The inspiration for KL Child Photography came from a very personal experience.

​

When my oldest son brought home his kindergarten portraits, I eagerly opened the envelope... only to find photographs that didn't look like him at all. His bright personality, playful spirit, and joyful smile were nowhere to be found.

​

As a family photographer, I knew there had to be a better way.

​

So I created one.

​

Today, KL Child Photography exists for one simple reason:

to create the school portraits I wished my own children had received.

​Our photographers don't simply arrive with cameras.

We arrive ready to sing songs, tell silly jokes, roar like dinosaurs, chat about superheroes and princesses, and do whatever it takes to earn a genuine smile.

Some days that means wearing a princess dress.
Other days it's a superhero cape.
