Emotion...joy...love...happiness...peace...passion

 There's nothing like the joy of a child.  Ever since I was young, much of my world has consisted of working with children - in my adult years, as a teacher and as a (figure skating) coach. I  have a master's degree in education from a fairly well-known California university whose unofficial mascot is bizarrely a tree.  (Yep, a tree!). Coupled with a simultaneous love for photography throughout much of my life, I've been blessed to have quite the interesting path and exciting journey.

Photography is my way of capturing the beauty of the world of children, of treasuring the authentic moments and joy of this unique journey that is our world.  I strive to capture emotion through the camera, of highlighting the feelings that frame our memories.  A photo session for me is as much centred around capturing relationships and authentic feelings as it is about documenting the family members.

Along these lines, my editing style is gently-touched, allowing my images to focus on the natural beauty of your family.  My camera is my tool; I've spent years mastering it and refining my work.  Post session, I work hard to keep images reflective of their natural state as much as possible, using editing techniques that enhance the images while leaving them true to our beautiful world around us.  For more about my style, please visit this link.
