Summer 2019

I realized this morning that the blog was in need of updating. I'm a bit embarrassed that it's been almost 4 months since the last update.

The past four months, like much of 2019, have been a whirlwind. Generally speaking, I feel like blogs don't get updated due to a lack of activity or due to not having the time. I'm proud to report that for me, it's the latter.

Summer saw over 40 sessions, ranging from newborns to families, cake smashes to school sessions. I was expecting a rather quiet summer, and lo and behold, it was full of many more clients than I ever would have anticipated! The workload has given me the opportunity to revamp my editing and personal style, with incredibly positive feedback from my clients.

The fall has picked up equally busy. As I centre my work to focus primarily on young children and their families, I've captured 27 - yes, you have read that right! - days of preschools this fall. My November Christmas sessions are fully sold out, and I've added some December dates to the line-up to accommodate the additional demand. I'm currently booking spring and summer 2020 studio sessions.

Add to it fundraising and charity opportunities - I feel blessed to have provided services for the Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust, Gilmore Elementary School, Ladner Elementary School and the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, with upcoming fundraisers with the Ladner Business Association, Bright Eyes Academy, Little Friends - Tsawwassen, and Neilson Grove Elementary School.
